Publication of a volume entitled "Background Studies for the ECB's Evaluation of its Monetary Policy Strategy"

The European Central Bank (ECB) has today published a volume entitled "Background Studies for the ECB's Evaluation of its Monetary Policy Strategy". This volume contains a set of background studies which were submitted to the Governing Council of the ECB in May 2003 in the context of its evaluation of the ECB's monetary policy strategy and which have since been available to the public on the ECB's website. The contributions have been edited slightly and collected in a single volume in order to make them more accessible to the interested reader.
