Competitiveness Research Network

The Competitiveness Research Network (CompNet) is a hub for research and policy analysis on competitiveness and productivity. Founded in 2012, its activities also include updating a firm-level database for a number of EU countries, which is unparalleled in terms of coverage and cross-country comparability.

The ECB actively contributes to CompNet with both analysis and data production, liaising with the other affiliated institutions, which include the European Commission, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, a number of national central banks, national statistical institutes and think tanks, such as the Halle Institute for Economic Research.

For more information about the network, its activities, data and members, please visit the CompNet website.
